I’m a journalist, playwright, lecturer and book author. I’ve published a wide variety of stories in the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Tribune Sunday Magazine including many covers stories in the magazine as well as stories in Chicago Magazine, the Journal of the American Dietetic Association and UIC Medicine Magazine. I specialize in medical/legal, science and health stories. I’ve lectured at Columbia College on science journalism. I’m also a produced playwright and have recently finished a musical. My journalism training and experience has given me a love for research and writing stories that both educate and entertain. I’ve used those skills to create a lecture series on diverse subjects in the arts, sciences, history and biographies. I currently lecture in senior communities in Chicago but my lectures would be suitable for many other types of venues.
Myth America the Musical
