The harrowing tale of Harvard Professor, Charles Davenport’s almost successful quest to create a master race in the U.S in the early 20th century by having all people in the U.S of low intelligence sterilized or killed as 27 states passed sterilization laws and 70,000 Americans were sterilized. Davenport’s success influenced Hitler’s master race ideas leading to the extermination of the Jewish people.

Watergate Revisited

It is generally accepted that Richard Nixon gave the order to break into the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate Apartment Complex. Investigative reporter Thomas Hougan presents a strong case that Nixon was the victim of Watergate and not the plotter. Nixon was way ahead in the polls against McGovern and trounced him in the election. He didn’t need any information to help him win. How Nato expansion influenced Vladimir Putin to invade the Ukraine

Although President George H.W. Bush promised Gorbachav in 1990 that no country in Europe that was east of Germany would ever be put into NATO, President Clinton in 1998 broke the agreement by putting Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic into NATO, moving their troops and missiles closer to the Russian border. Although Yeltsin and Putin stated that this was a serious threat to Russian security President George W Bush then put eight more countries into NATO, putting missiles right on the Russian border. This lecture looks at the influence of these historical events on Putin’s decision to invade the Ukraine.
